Wishing Well and Wishing Box in Perth now collecting money (and wishes)!

Jenny and Rex Diggins and Melia Borg, a family from Perth, recently visited The Sanctuary and the Slum School in Bali.  Jenny and Rex own a children's shop in Perth and for years they've had a wishing well where children can throw in their coins and make a wish.  Jenny and Rex have always donated this money to a children's charity and this year they decided to donate some of the money to Sacred Childhoods.  They donated $1255 from the wishing well and brought with them loads of children's clothing, books and colouring pencils.

Melia, who owns a jewellery shop in Perth, said that she wanted to design a wishing box for her shop based on the same idea.  Last week she emailed us a photo of the box which is already collecting money for Sacred Childhoods!  And Melia is back in Bali this week delivering more cloths for the children and mothers, including some much needed underwear!

Thank you Jenny, Rex and Melia, it was lovely getting to know you and your kindness has been deeply felt by myself, the team and the children at Sacred Childhoods. xxx
