New Facilities
In support of existing projects, Sacred Childhoods arranges for bunk beds
to be put in where the children otherwise
sleep on the concrete floor, fix windows and doors that have been broken
for years, improve the structure of old
buildings by putting in reinforcements, create living and dining areas,
paint the bedrooms and put in important equipment.
In many areas the numbers of children exceed the capacities of existing
projects so Sacred Childhoods would like to launch new orphanages that
will predominantly offer accommodation and food to the populations of
street children who will refer themselves for support.
Sacred Childhoods would also like to improve facilities at existing
children’s projects in the large cities across Indonesia. In
