A Basic Education
125,000,000 children around the world do not receive a basic
education. Instead children spend their childhoods begging
and working on the streets and remain in the poverty trap for the
rest of their lives

Sacred Childhoods is looking to start a number of Street Schools in
Indonesia where the children can voluntarily come to learn. Two
meals will be provided to replace the food that they would otherwise
be searching for or earning.
The Street Schools will be situated
in the slum areas where ‘street children’ are common. Where
possible, Sacred Childhoods will support individual children into apprentice
placements so that their skills can help them to provide for their families
and work their way out of poverty.
