30 Second Pitch

A friend of mine recently pointed out that people who are extremely busy and successful at making money haven't got all day to learn about the fantastic work that Sacred Childhoods is doing.  He said "imagine Richard Branson gets into your lift - you've only got 30 seconds to give him a great pitch and convince him to support the charity"! ...

                               OK, so here's my 30 seconds with you...let's go:

Sacred Childhoods is supporting some very vulnerable and impoverished children in Indonesia who without our support wouldn't be receiving an education, medical support, or healthy food and vitamins to help combat malnutrition.  To continue running our three small schools next year and cover our annual running costs we need £22,500.

 

Sacred Childhoods also supports local orphanages and impoverished communities by providing micro loans and helping with renovations and supplies.  For this we need extra funding, about £10,000 would make a big difference.

 

Because child trafficking is a big problem in Indonesia we are launching a prevention and awareness program which will cost £10,000 and prevent hundreds of children being sold or conned into prostitution or forced labour. 

 

We're also building an eco-village to protect and support children who have been trafficked and/or made to become child-prostitites for local men and travelling sex offenders.  To finish the build of village (called The Sanctuary) we need a further £100,000.  We will care for 25 children at The Sanctuary who require a lot of help from trained Western and Indonesian professionals.  To run the centre at full capacity will cost £210,000 per year.

 

Our projects transform lives and give children their childhoods back.

 

Our running costs are kept to an absolute minimum and if you donate to Sacred Childhoods we will prove to you that your money is being well spent through our open-books accounts.
